Devin and Nick met a few days before her birthday in 2017. On Devin’s birthday, they went out with a group of coworkers in West Hollywood, CA. They hit it off right away, and became fast friends.
December 11, 2017
Over the next few months Nick and Devin were almost always around each other. At the office, they worked closely. After work, they would often go to team happy hours together.
October 31, 2018
They worked together for about a year and a half. The happy hours started as large groups, and slowly dwindled to just the 2 of them. They became very close in their time working together. They were best friends.
Devin eventually left FabFitFun, and they were finally able to be together
the happy hours turned into dinner dates
They went on their first official date that Friday. After that, they were just inseparable.

January 6, 2019
Nick asked Devin to be his girlfriend on January 2, 2019. They went away for the weekend to Santa Barbara to celebrate their new commitment to each other.

Valentina
Nick and Devin began fostering Valentina at the beginning of COVID-19. She was in the pound for a total of 3 months, at 2 different shelters, and was on death row the whole time. The incredible volunteers kept her safe until she was able to be rescued. Her daughter was adopted into a forever home on the day that she was rescued. She was very traumatized and spent about 6 weeks decompressing from the ordeal. By the time she was able to meet new parents, she was already a part of the family.
Lando
Nick found Lando on the side of the road, mangled and emaciated from living as a stray. Nick put out milk for him and eventually gained his trust. As soon as Lando trusted him enough, Nick brought him inside for a much needed bath and a long rest in a warm bed. He had to take him to the pound for a week-long hold since he was a stray. The day he was available for adoption, Nick was there 15 minutes before they opened, ready to bring his buddy home. Once they had adopted Valentina, it was a no brainer to bring Lando home, as well.

So, after 1.5 years of quarantine, 2 dogs, 3 apartments, 4 road trips across country, and countless adventures over 4 years of friendship. Devin and Nick were still best friends. They loved each other endlessly. Through the highs and lows, they found ways to laugh, to work together, and always chose each other.

So FINALLY, after 3 years of dating, they decided to always choose each other, for the rest of their lives.
